Okay first off, listen to all the Metallica albums and gradually you'll notice with each album the pace of Metallica dropping
with each album. Kill 'Em All was all speed and metal...Ride The Lightning you'll notice songs (which are great, I admit)
like Fade To Black, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Escape which are slowish, although they are good, you notice the speed and
metal presence in the songs, except For Whom The Bell Tolls...thats a great song. Now Master Of Puppets is a great album,
but you'll notice how it's not heavy or that fast as say Kill 'Em All or Ride The Lightning. Many would say they are refining
their sound or whatever, I don't care, that was a good album. Now ...And Justice For All, with the line change up
with Cliff out and Jason Newsted in, we see a change in Metallica's sound. We hear what we call radio music, 'One' is a great
song but it also was played on radio and hit charts and that. But I admit, it was a great song...lets move on. Overall,
...And Justice For All is a great album and it would have been good if Metallica continued playing that way. Okay, here comes
crunch!!! Black album was released, produced by Bob Rock who is a gay poser sellout himself and brought Metallica down
with him. Black is a great album but the sound is different. On the album we hear many more nice sounding refined metal but
you can tell things are changing with the releases of Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters. They are great songs but they have
released the songs as singles meaning they are heading for poser sissy sellout mode. May the long live with their success and
new fans but how about the old fans? Did they possibly think their true metal fans would enjoy headbanging to Nothing
Else Matters??? I'm afraid not...but then we see the release of Load and this is when most fans (True METAL fans) realised
the change and moved on but some stayed hoping this was ONE-OFF. However, they release Re-Load about a year or two after
and we see the success of the newer style Metallica moving on into their albums and this is when TRUE METALLICA fans from
when they started moved off and went onto better music. Metallica have millions of fans world-wide but have lost the true fans,
which got them there in the first place. It's sad to think that Metallica have basically dumped their true fans and
have gotten themselves some newer fans to carry them off with the new style they possess. Not only has the music changed,
but the actually lyrics in the songs have changed. The newer lyrics Metallica write, do not contain meaningful messages, since
they dropped the subjects of war, crime...maybe the new Metallica do write songs about war, but they are not meaningful
nor does the music even make it sound like a war song. Anyway, lyrics of new and Old Metallica songs will be compared:
I'm your source of self destruction (Master Of Puppets, Master Of Puppets)
So you bring this poor dog in from the rain (Low Mans Lyrics, Re-Load)
As you can see, Metallica are now writing wimpy songs...I dunno whats gotten into them. Lets compare this one:
Blow the universe, Into nothingess (Fight Fire With Fire, Ride The Lightning)
Time was never on my side, so on I wait my whole lifetime (The Outlaw Torn, Load)
Okay, the new lyrics are just shocking, they are meaningless and sissy...they have no story. The lyrics from Fight Fire
With Fire at leat creates an image of someone or a group out to take over the world and blow it up or something but
what does the new song create? I dunno..???? *SHRUGS*
I think you get the point now...lets see some new and old Megadeth lyrics...the new ones are on the second line...
Now before they take me, and my blessed life. Now you'll know why deth, was summoned here tonight (Looking Down The Cross, Killing
Is My Business...And Business Is Good)
The slayer's arrived, on a black htose of steel, trouble is coming, hell on two wheels (The Disintegrators, Cryptic Writings)
Now you'll see no change in the style, even the music is fast and heavy. So give Megadeth a listen and they won't disappoint you...
They haven't let me down.
