PART 1 - The problem with Metallica
Metallica? What the hell happened guys? I mean you go from such awesome music to this sissy stuff that
doesn't even reach a METAL level! What's up with Unforgivin II? I mean Metallica has the word METAL in
it and yet they disappoint millions of their true fans. For what? For money, fame and a plastic award! We still have
other premier thrash bands and other metal bands that can really play, but Metallica sort of grew on me.
It became a part of me and when I heard Re-Load it was as if someone drove a
stake through my stomach! It is unfortunate to see them go but please don't make excuses for them such as
"Come on there getting old" or "They are expanding their horizons" I couldn't care less if they were a
hundred but if you have metal in your band name you should at least live up to it and look at Megadeth for instance.
Those guys have been around just as long and take a look at them, they are smashin', crashin' and thrashin'
like you wouldn't believe so don't try that age excuse it doesn't make sense and it doesn't work. Well I can't figure out
what makes Metallica any different from any other mainstream band! As for there entrance into the "Mainstream"
well it has been happening ever since the "Black" album (don't get me wrong "Black" is an excellent album)
they have been edging there way into the mainstream. With the release of Re-Load they have taken one giant
leap into the "mainstream" and I think they are there to stay because they SUCK!!!
PART 2 - Why I HATE them (Wasting My Hate On Metallica)
Many of you would be wondering why on Earth I would hate such a great band like Metallica. Well, let's get one thing straight...

to find new fans and grab their money. There are many reasons as to why I don't like Metallica. First off...
I am sick and tired of the poppy, hard rock crap they've been releasing on their past few albums. Once I heard 'Until It Sleeps'
I knew that they had changed. Just the look of them...with short hair, make-up, and the music was just crap. Kirk would usually
play a cool solo, but in that song, was there even a solo? Something was going on, I was shocked, I was like 'Oh my gosh!!!
What the hell is happening here?' and then 'Hero Of The Day' got released and 'Mama Said'. I was thinking, 'That's it!!!' they
are really crap. But they were my favourite band so I still went out and paid my good $30 to buy Reload which is the worse thing
I have ever bought in my life. I didn't want to waste my money any longer and since the songs on the album were crap, I went to
Megadeth!!! They are a truly awesome band. People hate Dave's voice, but I like it...it's better than that country style crap
Jaymz sings anyway. I hate it when people would say 'Metallica are the best' but they're not, not anymore anyway. They are
the worst band now. Just compare and point out the differences between load, Reload and Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets.
Now you'll say 'Oh yeah, their old stuff is better, their new stuff is slow and crap and is not as skilled as their old stuff' but
then you get the odd one saying 'They are changing their style', 'They're better now', 'Everyone changes' and there are more,
I will add them on another day. Anyway, the people that say those things don't listen to any other music then and are just
sellout, poser tryhards who can't face the fact that Metallica are now what many of us smart people believe as 'JUST PLAIN CRAP'.
I now like Megadethh, I prefer them to Metallica...at least Megadeth don't soften up like Metallica and Megadeth still play
fast and heavy tunes. Metallica are gay and they are losers out to make some more money and win more awards. They should just
go back to their old style IF they can, but they suck so I don't them to do that. If they did go back to their old style, Jaymz
would change it to country/metal or some gay crap like that. Metallica are pathetic now, so do yourself a favour and buy some
Megadeth CD's or somehting.
